Labor Day 2010

On Labor Day, we decided to go to the Madison Zoo, and we stopped at an apple orchard on the way.

Then we went to the zoo.

Alec loved all of the animals but especially the lion. He kept making "roaring" sounds!

It was a very nice time!

Fourth of July Party

On Sunday evening, we headed to Monroe for a get together at the Rhoe's house. We played volleyball, ate supper, and then headed to the park to watch the fireworks.

We listened to the Monroe city band for a while. They were pretty good!

About halfway through, it started pouring down rain, and we had to walk back to the Rhoe's house. Everybody got a little wet but it was still really fun. :)

We had a wonderful time of fellowship!!! Thank you to the Rhoes for having us over! :)
