Photos of the Boys Part 1

Yesterday, we decided to head out to Oakdale so I could take some pictures of the boys. My emotions about the photo shoot could be described as: frustrating, exasperating, exhausting, etc. Imagine trying to get five boys looking at the camera at the same time and one of them of baby! I did manage to get a few good ones. On Thursday, we are going to head back out there to take some more and retake some. ;)

adorable!!!!- I didn't get them to smile at each other either. I just when you can capture a candid moment.

the brotherhood- I took some jumping pics of them which were really cool, but they didn't turn out due to lighting. You will have to look for them on part 2.

A little too much sun, but I still kinda liked it.

I thought the haze created by the sun in this pic was neat.

After about five photos like this, they all finally are looking at the camera and smiling!

This is what usually happens. Everybody else is perfect but one person isn't cooperating.

Overall the photo shoot went pretty good, and I had fun taking them. Hopefully some of the poses I discarded can be retaken when it is not so sunny out.

Family Reunion

Last Saturday we went to a family reunion in Byron. The place we went to had a water playground for the kids. With it being so hot, the younger ones really enjoyed it.

Anthony took Alec under the mister to clean him off, but it wasn't quite enough.

Oops! Anthony slipped and fell while trying to wash Alec off.

That should do the trick!

Needless to say, Alec didn't like it much. He hates getting water in his eyes.

Little Miss Rachel- She gets pretty spoiled because there are only 3 other grandaughters compared to ten grandsons on Dad's side of the family.My latest sewing project- I was going through my scrap material and found this red fabric left from matching skirts I had made for Britt and I about three years ago. I decided to make Rachel a dress to match it.

I think it will look really cute on her.

Adam started playing in the sand while he was still wet. Not a good combination! Pretty hard to clean up. ;)

Blueberry Pie

Playing in the water

With it being so hot, this what Alec and Austin have been doing the past few days. Alec was afraid to get in at first, but now he loves playing in the pool.
