Hanging Out

Last Thursday, Dad had to take tests in Rockford and Mom had a bridal shower, so I decided to do something special with the boys. We grabbed a pizza and went to Krape Park for a picnic and play time.
Even big kids love playing at kid's castle
Alec was having a ball crawling and walking around, and of course, playing with sticks.

Austin can be scaredy-cat at times until he tries something, and he definitely was the fire pole. Anthony had to stand at the bottom and hold him as he came down. ;)

As you can see, Alec did not really like to swing.

Alec loved riding with Aaron on the teeter-totter. He kept giggling and giggling.

This big boy is starting to walk on his own!

It was a fun time to spend some time with boys at the park.

Frog Disection

WARNING: This post is rather disgusting and graphic. If you don't like animals or guts, read on at your own risk!!!
The boys disected the frog last Wednesday night.

I had to shut my eyes to keep from seeing these pictures! That is so nasty! If you can't tell, I wasn't big on disections. Andrew did all the gross stuff while I watched from a safe distance! lol ;)

Technical Difficulties

Hey Everybody!

Our computers are experiencing some technical difficulties, I will not be able to update as frequently or for a while. The laptop has problems, so Dad deleted some of the programs off. The photoshop program is no longer on it, and it takes hours to upload the pictures without a program. Our school computer was hit by lightning, so I can't use that one either for a while. I will try to update using Dad's work computer, but I will have to use when he is not working since he uses it a lot. Well anyways... you get the point. ;) Just wanted to let you know in case you would wonder why I don't update. Pray that we would be able to get the problems fixed and get the computers up and running because we use them a lot. Thanks!

Mother's Day

On Sunday, we made breakfast in bed for Mom.

I was supposed to make lunch for Mom, but we ended up going to the McLain's house to eat lunch with them and the Frys. It was a nice time of fellowship. I ended up making my meal for supper instead. I made creamy ham cassarole, strawberry jello, cottage cheese, and garlic bread.
yummy drink
Happy Mother's Day Mom!

Planting Flowers

Mom planted flowers in the planter on Saturday night.
Mom was standing on the planter to hoe the dirt. ;)

Alec was watching from inside wishing he could come out.
He figured out to open the door...
...and escaped.
Trying to help out
playing in the dirtHmmm...I wonder what this will taste like.
Needless to say, he did not like eating dirt.
What a stinker ;)

Alec's Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for Alec last Thursday night. Grandma and Grandpa Gillingham, Uncle Kevin, Brittney, Michael, Uncle Dan, Aunt Emily, Adam, Uncle Harold, Aunt Barbara, and the Caswells came for the party.
We had a barn/farm theme for the party. I decorated the cake and Mom decorated the cupcakes.

Mom had some farm cutouts that she had used for Bible School, so we put them up.the barn door
