NICYO Peformances

This was the second summer that Christian homeschooled kids in the area had the opportunity to participate in the Northern Illinois Christian Youth Orchestra. We practiced nine weeks over the summer to prepare for our final concerts. Jacob Bernhardt did a wonderful again of conducting our group, and the Caswells did an excellent overseeing and organizing it! It was such a blessing to be able to be a part of it. This year we did two concerts: one in Freeport and one in Rockford.

Roger, Gabe, and Joanna N. were the soloists for the "One Bow Concerto." They shared one bow throughout the entire piece and had a lot of fun with it too! :)
