Gardens and Such

A couple of weeks, we had to get the drain field for our septic replaced, so a lot of our backyard has now become mud. :(

Our neighbors gave this maple tree to plant in our yard.
one of our gardens
our sweet corn garden and grapevines
tomatoes
a few tomatoes that will be getting ripe pretty soon

broccoli- We have gotten a lot of it this year.

sweet corn
We also planted green beans, lettuce, carrots, onions, and potatoes.

The grapes should be ripe pretty soon. Looks like we are going to have a lot of them this year!

Afternoon at the Park

When we went to the park on Tuesday to get Alec's pictures, the boys of course had a good time playing there.

They had a blast running around Kid's Castle!

jumping on the bridge :)

Of course, they wanted to go on the carousel.

They had these statues in the memorial garden and Aaron was "rubbing" the little boy's head...
so Austin followed his big brother's example.
Aaron being goofy
awww... so sweet!
We bought some cold pop for Alec since it was so hot out, and he got really wound up. lol He kept attacking Aaron! :)

Alec's Two Year Pictures

Yesterday afternoon I was finally able to fit in some time to do a photo shoot with Alec. It was really hot out, but he did fairly well. Thank you to Aaron who was a big help getting Alec to stay in place and to smile.

my helper :)
and my other helper

Alec is such a ham!!! He kept smiling at everybody that walked by and tried to get them to look at him. lol

He's so cute!

a little stinker!

Now for a couple of the rejects.
For some reason, Alec will never smile for me whenever I have a camera! This is the look that he gave me most of the time, so I'm glad Aaron got him to smile.
This was too funny! Aaron and Austin were spitting at Alec to get him to smile but instead he just started doing it back. lol :)

All in all I was to get some pretty good pictures to choose from. It was a lot of fun! :)
